 Virginia is in the news. It seems that the “Mother of Presidents” is birthing something new, right out of a futuristic dystopian novel. AI (artificial intelligence) is a catch-phrase you see more and more in news reports, even in stock recommendations. Some think it is the answer to all of our problems. AI promises great improvement in the human condition, but there are costs involved. The computers behind AI need power, and it turns out AI needs even more power than other computer applications. There is also a need for massive data storage associated with AI. And Virginia, with its strategic location near the ‘belly of the beast,’ is being tapped to provide this energy and data storage. The tentacles of the Deep State reach out from the federal empire’s dark halls where plans are being made to collect, store and use data on Americans, not necessarily with their consent or with their best interest in view. Those tentacles reach into Virginia’s historic countryside, where patriots fought for liberty and representative government. The paths they trod, the fields they plowed and the hearths they gathered around are under pressure from the development that supports the large population relocated to this region to support the empire. Add to that the new requirements needed for the Deep State’s plans to spy and collect information on the empire’s subjects and you can begin to see the magnitude of the problem. The empire’s Propaganda Ministry works hard to hide any knowledge or references to the true history of the region as this would destroy the fake history which underpins the empire and lets it control its subjects. Tyrants commonly use this tactic. Unfortunately, our once free and independent media have succumbed to the lure of power and money. They, and our vaunted educational system, have abandoned truth. Since the empire’s formation in the 1860’s, the proximity of Babylon on the Potomac (I refuse to link the honourable name of Washington with that monstrous beast on the Potomac) to Virginia has caused problems for the Old Dominion. We have all seen the urban sprawl attempt to pave over the fields where patriots fought against the very beast at its inception. Truth, values and the sacred soil of the lands where history was made and traditions took root must not stand in the way of the grand design of progress. Our leaders and influencers are not to be denied their slice of the pie. It seems whenever man takes his eyes off of the divine, his focus on earthly treasures always leads to misery. But there is money to be made, power to wield. Sinister, Deep-State Bureaucrats who see 1984 as a blue-print to some nightmare future, where privacy and liberty are things of the past, need massive data storage for their nefarious work. Our technological culture is becoming dependent on high capacity data centers to maintain that power they so desire. So why let hayseed locals, with ties to the land, stand in the way of the steamroller of progress. Bring on the money. Bulldoze and destroy so the work of rebuilding in the image of empire can begin. Where is Mosby when the country really needs him?
