In Brotherly Bonds We Stand In brotherly bonds we take our stand. We unite before our monuments great. All across our Southern land, We shall stand united and with reason we relate. In brotherly bonds we stand. In brotherly bonds sacrifices made. We take our oath upon holy ground. In memory of monuments laid, They *crossed over the river with worthiness bound, In brotherly bonds we stand. We watch with vigilance o’er our monuments tall. Sculptures built for our fallen kin. Holy shrines we placed for all, The honored and defeated are gallant men. In brotherly bonds we stand. Our allegiance against the foe we sight. We shall defend our heritage with duty. Defense through day and moonlit night, We love our monuments of sacred beauty. In brotherly bonds we stand. The gallant gray army was young with youth. They followed their independence crave. Defended the Motherland with honor and truth, They died in defeat and their honor we save. In brotherly bonds we stand. Our soil is drenched in blood o’er our defeated nation. We stand in praise for valiant men. Our monuments built in dedication, We must deprive the enemy their win. In brotherly bonds we stand. We defend our monuments like a sacred grave. It is a spiritual communion for our Confederate dead. Enemy destruction to monuments of the brave, On Southern fields our kinsmen have bled. In brotherly bonds we stand. We shall stand in defiance our monuments tall. Those beautiful columns are marble and stone. Their dedication to nation for one and all, A defeated country is freedom blown. In brotherly bonds we stand. In brotherly bonds we take our stand. We stand before our monuments great. All across our Southern land, We shall stand united without debate. In brotherly bonds we take our final stand. *“cross over the river”, signifying death
