TO MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT COUNTRY WESTERN MUSIC NOT MY PREFERENCE ONLY GOT 9 RIGHT. BUT I WOULD DISAGREE ON TWO OF YOUR QUESTIONS I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THE CATFISH RESTAURANTS ARE CALLED CATFISH HOUSE AS I WAS AT ONE IN FORSYTHE COUNTY GEORGIA AND I WENT THERE BECAUSE OF AN ARTICLE IN THE ATLANTA JOURNAL ON THE 6 CATFISH HOUSE LEFT IN THE SO AND THAT WAS BACK IN 1985. ALSO MY MOTHER-IN-LAW A PURE CAJUN PRONOUNCED OT PEEE CAN PIE.

I got all of them. However, my recollection is hearing both pronunciations of "pecan" about equally, growing up "down the river". (Maybe y'all should have substituted one about "goober peas" instead? And how could y'all leave out the great "y'all" debates? )
