The Way We Are Now

  • How tragic that the American men who died at Guadalcanal and Normandy, the Chosin reservoir and Khe San, did not have diversity and feminist training.  They never had the opportunity to apologise for their  white privilege.
  • What a lot of racial antagonism and violence we have had in Minnesota lately.  The average American attention span is about three days, but some of us oldsters can remember when Minnesota had almost no black people and was in the forefront of the campaign of condemning and  reconstructing Southern white people in regard to relations with their huge black population.  It could not happen to a nicer bunch of people.
  • It is time for the Make America Great Again people to admit that the Trump Presidency was a catastrophe for our country.  If the Democrats had not been too complacent to steal the election in 2016 and put Hillary in the White House, she would have encountered a great deal of opposition.  Republicans would have felt an obligation to be the opposition force instead of trashing their own non-Establishment President.  The leftist trajectory would not have gone as fast and as far as it did under Trump.
  • Trump’s failures are conspicuous and many, but the greatest one is his failure to connect with his voters, the  deplorable half of the American  population with guns and Bibles.  He gave us lip service and raised our hopes but he never really connected with us in spirit.  He seems to have no interest in his Jan 6 supporters who are being abused by the government.  The least he could do is set up a legal foundation to support conservatives who are being oppressed.
  • Perhaps the biggest con game ever perpetrated was the serial promises of Republicans to reform the Supreme Court.  Most of their choices have been turncoats and they have failed to put up much opposition to extreme leftist appointments.  The supreme fraud came in 2020 when the Republican Supreme Court used a technicality to avoid jurisdiction over the election fraud.  Some States sued other States over their fraudulent elections, a matter which was vital to the whole country’s future.  The Court has a clear Constitutional duty to take jurisdiction over suits between States. Read Article Three.  History will probably see this as a major benchmark in the fall of America and the corruption and cowardice of our elite.
  • A great many Americans suffer from a Pollyanish belief that elections are fair and honest. The fact is that there has never been an election in the U.S. without fraud.  How could it be otherwise when politicians are generally plausible psychopaths motivated by greed, lust, and desire of domination and fame?  Of course, Americans know no history.  If they did they would know that 2020 was by no means the first stolen Presidential election. The Republicans in Reconstruction pioneered the process of false reporting of returns and marshalling the black vote for the ruling elite.  Without that, Grant would never have been elected President. And in 1876 in the Electoral vote counting, the Republican Congress flagrantly stole the election from the winner, Samuel J. Tilden.

Yeah, the Minns didn’t get half of what they deserve. I hope they get a lot more enrichment.

That "clucking" sound you hear in Minnesota is the chickens coming home to roost.

Yes these observations are quite accurate. Trump is a most interesting politician and boring ugly American all at the same time. He was correct to attack and relentlessly expose the fake news and seemed also to have been more concerned about our national borders than most politicians in our duopoly but other than that, he was pretty much just a National embarrassment like Joe Biden, but for different reasons. We need to distinguish today between a national embarrassment and a national disgrace. Trump and Biden for instance are embarrassments while their children and friends tend more upwards the category of being disgraceful.

Thank you for pointing out that this isn’t the only election with fraud. My goodness! If we counted the election results accurately probably very few of the candidates who ever were placed in office would have been there! Americans are so naive!
